Pre-Departure Meeting

August 8th

The pre-departure meeting provided participants with up-to-date details of the logistical components of the study tour, as well as introducing attendees to each other, to the travel partner, Reho, and the ACRS tour leaders. The agenda followed the progression of the tour through each of the cities to be visited, company visits as well as relevant travel information. At this time, participants were also provided with a Travel Journal (which documented background information about each city and company), accompanied by some pre-reading material to ensure all study tour participants were equally prepared for what lay ahead! We all agreed at this meeting that the study tour was the ideal way to learn about best practice retailing around the world, but equally the perfect opportunity to explore and experience the unique cultures and lifestyles of each country to be visited.
